We're launching a 'Day in the Life' series, a new Proteostasis UK social media series showcasing the people and research driving discoveries across the proteostasis field.
We're inviting PhD students and early career researchers to create a short, engaging 3-minute video introducing themselves, explaining their research, and sharing why their work matters. The aim is to highlight the breadth of research across our community while helping researchers develop their science communication skills and connect with a wider audience.
Whether your research focuses on protein synthesis, folding, quality control, degradation, autophagy, aggregation, transport, ageing, disease, infection, development, agriculture, or another aspect of proteostasis, we'd love to hear from you.
Each video should introduce you and your research, explain the scientific question you're tackling, showcase some of the methods you use, and describe why your work is important. We'll provide simple guidance and a suggested template to help you create your video (see below).
Videos will be featured on the Proteostasis UK website and social media channels throughout the year as part of the Day in the Life series.
If you're interested in taking part or have any questions please email us at: proteostasisuk@babraham.ac.uk
