
We are seeking two additional members to join the UKPRoNet Early Career Researcher (ECR) advisory panel (one PhD student and one Postdoctoral researcher), based in the UK and working in proteostasis and closely related fields.
Working in close collaboration with the Network manager, you will lead the development of innovative solutions and practical resources to overcome key barriers to ECR career progression. Your efforts will help drive the Network’s mission to support the next generation of proteostasis researchers through initiatives including, but not limited to, training workshops, pump-priming projects, mentorship, lab exchanges and an annual symposium. You will further support our strong commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), ensuring that all early career researchers, regardless of background or discipline, have equal access to opportunities and resources.
The role is offered as an initial one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal by mutual agreement.

The UK Proteostasis Network (UKProNet) has grown to over 185 members across more than 60 academic and industry groups. With new funding secured, we are now shaping the next phase of UKProNet activities.
We are seeking a UK-based technician working in proteostasis or closely related fields to join the UKProNet Steering Committee.
As a technology and skills specialist, you will bring an important technical perspective to UKProNet activities, contributing to areas such as:
· Shaping workshops and initiatives aligned with technician priorities
· Highlighting best practice in proteostasis methods
· Supporting networking and knowledge sharing across UK laboratories
The Steering Committee meets quarterly online, with one in-person meeting per year at the UKProNet Annual Meeting (next meeting: 20–21 July 2026, Francis Crick Institute, London).
The role is offered as an initial one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal by mutual agreement.
