Conference 2025

This exciting event brought together the Autophagy UK network and the Proteostasis UK network for a unique opportunity to foster collaboration and cross-pollination between these two dynamic scientific communities. Hosted at the University of Dundee, the conference explored the lifecycle of cellular components in reverse, tracing their journey "from degradation to synthesis”, while showcasing transformative technologies that are revolutionising the fields of autophagy and proteostasis.

Over the course of 2.5 days, participants took part in inspiring talks, dynamic poster sessions, and engaging discussions. This conference was designed to foster collaboration, spark innovation, and promote knowledge exchange among leading scientists, researchers, and industry experts. This meeting was particularly valuable for early-career development with lots of opportunities for postdocs and students to network and present posters or give talks.
